Gospel Youth Convention

The 2nd and 3rd of June was a weekend in Kalgoorlie for the Gospel Youth Convention.

The weekend away was made up of leaving Wongutha at 6am, driving to Kalgoorlie, a quick talk about the house rules at the Camp School, then a morning of shopping.

The afternoon was spent between the football and the Oasis Sports Centre.

Church followed by lunch on Sunday, then a return trip home, brought the weekend to an end.

Pizza at home and then a well earned sleep.

Wongutha CAPS is currently looking for individuals to fill the following positions:

  • Full time Manager for Boys Hostel
  • Full time male supervisors for Boys Hostel
  • Full time Administration Manager (edit 04 July 2007 – this position has been filled)
  • Full time Cook (edit 21 Aug 2007 – this position has been filled)

Accommodation is provided free of charge on site for the hostel positions and electricity and gas are paid for by the school.

There is a generous long service leave plan for all of the vacant positions and the school is a pleasant working environment.
